Convenient Access from Palmer Ranch
Palmer Ranch's western edge is US 41, and Prestige Dental sits just across that highway. For anyone weighing a dentist near Palmer Ranch, that means a trip of about 9 minutes from the Culverhouse Nature Park trailhead, mostly on the community's own parkways. Our Sarasota office is led by Dr. Andrew Falestiny, who cares for families, retirees and everyone in between.
From Culverhouse Nature Park on McIntosh Rd, drive south on McIntosh Rd and turn west onto Central Sarasota Pkwy. The parkway runs straight out to US 41, and our office sits just north of that intersection on the west side of the highway, near Debbie St. In all it is roughly 3.4 miles; rush hour on US 41 can add a few minutes.
Potter Park, with its playgrounds and tennis courts, lies about half a mile east of us, and The Plaza at Palmer Ranch with its Publix sits across US 41. The address is 8520 S Tamiami Trl Unit 2, Sarasota, FL 34238, and our Google Maps page works from any Palmer Ranch neighborhood. We also welcome patients from Gulf Gate Estates to the northwest and Bee Ridge to the north.
Where Palmer Ranch Families and Retirees Find Their Dental Home
Palmer Ranch grew out of the Palmer family's former ranch land into a master-planned community in unincorporated Sarasota County, taking shape from 1984 on. Clark Rd marks its northern side and I-75 its eastern edge, while McIntosh Rd, Honore Ave, Palmer Ranch Pkwy and Central Sarasota Pkwy carry most local traffic. Because Central Sarasota Pkwy ends at US 41 right beside our office, most of the drive stays on the community's own roads.
The community draws active families and retirees alike. Bikes roll along the Legacy Trail, golfers head to TPC Prestancia and Stoneybrook, and kids burn energy at Potter Park and Culverhouse. A dental office that fits around that rhythm is worth having close by.
We are open Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Reminders arrive by email or text, and new-patient forms can be filled out online before the first visit, so the morning of the appointment stays simple.
Dental Priorities for an Active Palmer Ranch Lifestyle
Two groups make up much of Palmer Ranch: households raising kids and adults enjoying retirement. Their dental needs differ, but both benefit from steady preventive care. Regular cleanings and exams catch decay, gum problems and worn dental work while the fixes are still small.
For residents who have lost most of their teeth, or whose teeth are heavily damaged, full-arch rehabilitation rebuilds an entire upper or lower arch, or both. Dr. Falestiny plans it around bite, comfort, appearance and long-term stability. Implant-supported dentures are one route, and he walks through each option before anything is decided.
Younger patients and working parents often come to us for straighter teeth or a brighter smile. Invisalign clear aligners, planned with an iTero® scan, fit an active schedule because the trays come out for meals and workouts. In-office Zoom® whitening can lift several shades in a single visit for healthy permanent teeth.
Trail rides and pickup games also bring the occasional chipped or knocked tooth. Prompt care can often save it, which is one more reason to know where your dentist is before you need one.
Services We Offer as Your Dentist Near Palmer Ranch
Full-Arch Rehabilitation
A complete rebuild of the upper arch, lower arch or both for patients missing most of their teeth. Each plan balances bite, comfort, appearance and how the result will hold up over time.
Family Dentistry
Cleanings, exams, sealants, fillings and oral cancer screenings for patients of every age. Palmer Ranch parents and grandparents can share one familiar office with the kids.
Invisalign®
Clear, removable aligners correct crowding, gaps and bite problems for teens and adults. An iTero® digital scan guides the plan from the first visit.
Extractions
Removal of wisdom teeth, crowded teeth, or teeth too damaged by decay, disease or injury to save. Local anesthesia keeps the area numb throughout.
Emergency Dentistry
Help for sudden toothaches, cracked teeth, loose teeth, lost crowns and abscesses. We fit urgent visits in whenever possible, four days a week.
Much of this work relies on equipment in our own office, from CBCT imaging and dental lasers to an in-house 3D printer for restorations. Our Advanced Technology page explains each tool, and your first visit page describes what the opening appointment looks like.

What Our Patients Say About Us
Frequently Asked Questions
How far is Prestige Dental from Palmer Ranch, and how do I get there?
Plan on about 9 minutes for the 3.4-mile drive from Culverhouse Nature Park. Take McIntosh Rd south, Central Sarasota Pkwy west and US 41 a short way north to Debbie St. Because the community borders US 41, getting to a dentist near Palmer Ranch keeps you on quiet parkways for most of the trip.
Is full-arch rehabilitation an option if most of my teeth are failing?
It can be. Full-arch rehabilitation is designed for people missing most or all of their teeth, or whose teeth are badly damaged. Dr. Falestiny first evaluates your bone, gums and bite with CBCT imaging and an exam, then lays out choices such as implant-supported dentures. Treatment is planned for function, comfort and appearance together.
Am I too old to straighten my teeth with Invisalign?
No. Invisalign clear aligners work for adults as well as teens, and many people choose them later in life to fix crowding, gaps or a bite that has shifted. Straighter teeth are also easier to clean. Dr. Falestiny begins with an iTero® scan and an exam, then shows you how the plan will move your teeth.
What happens at my first appointment with Dr. Falestiny?
Your first appointment begins with a conversation about your goals, any fears, past dental experiences, schedule and budget. Then comes a thorough exam with digital x-rays and a review of your options. Bring your insurance card and any recent x-rays. Blankets and neck pillows are available, and you leave with a goody bag.
Does your membership plan have a waiting period?
No. Benefits begin when you join at the office and run for 12 months, with no waiting periods, deductibles or annual maximums. The plan includes cleanings, exams and routine x-rays at no extra cost, plus discounts on other procedures. It suits retirees and families who no longer carry traditional dental insurance.
