Dentist Near Sarasota Springs

Convenient Access from Sarasota Springs

A straight run down Beneva Rd brings Sarasota Springs residents to Prestige Dental in about 13 minutes, a 6.4-mile trip to our office on South Tamiami Trail in Sarasota. Neighbors who want a dentist near Sarasota Springs for a child's checkup, a cracked tooth after a fall or a tooth that needs replacing will find that care with Dr. Andrew Falestiny. Our hours run Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Start at the Sarasota Springs Trailhead on Webber St, one of the access points for the Legacy Trail. Head west on Webber St and turn south on Beneva Rd, which carries you about 5 miles before it becomes Vamo Rd. Join US 41 / South Tamiami Trail southbound for roughly half a mile to 8520 S Tamiami Trl Unit 2, Sarasota, FL 34238, on the west side of the highway near Debbie St. You can find us on Google Maps before you set out.

Early in the drive, Beneva Rd runs along the eastern edge of Southgate, while Fruitville lies to the north and east of the neighborhood. Near the end, the road meets US 41 at the Sarasota Square redevelopment site, and the Publix at The Plaza at Palmer Ranch stands across the highway from our office.

Trail Riders, School Families and a Dental Office One Road Away

Sarasota Springs is an unincorporated community in Sarasota County, roughly bounded by Bahia Vista St to the north, Bee Ridge Rd to the south and Cattlemen Rd to the east. The Legacy Trail runs along its western side. When the trail's North Extension opened in 2022, the Webber St trailhead became part of a paved route that now runs continuously from Venice to downtown Sarasota.

Families also know the neighborhood through Brentwood Elementary School on Vinson Ave. Between school mornings and trail rides, a dental office that is simple to reach makes routine care easier to keep up. With almost the entire drive on Beneva Rd, our office is easy to fit into an errand loop, and the Bee Ridge community just to the south uses the same road to reach us.

Children at Brentwood benefit most from steady preventive care. Sealants help protect the chewing surfaces of back teeth, and regular dental exams catch small cavities before they turn into larger repairs. Kids leave each visit with a goody bag, and parents can settle in with a blanket and neck pillow during their own cleanings.

For families without insurance, our $69 cleaning, exam and x-ray is a simple first step. It covers a full cleaning, an oral health exam and all standard x-rays, and it applies to new patients without insurance and without periodontal disease. Sarasota Springs households that want ongoing coverage can move to our in-office membership plan after that visit.

Dr. Falestiny keeps much of the work in one place, which means fewer referrals and fewer drives. He aims for honest recommendations and consistent long-term care, and he refers patients to trusted colleagues outside the practice when a case truly calls for it.

Bumps, Falls and Growing Smiles: A Guide for Sarasota Springs Households

Riding, running and skating on a paved trail are great exercise, but a fall can chip or loosen a tooth. Emergency care at our office covers trauma, broken or chipped teeth, loose teeth and lost crowns or fillings. We make room for urgent visits whenever possible, Monday through Thursday.

Some damaged teeth can be saved with a crown or a root canal, while others need to come out. Extractions at our office use local anesthesia, and Dr. Falestiny can then talk about replacing the tooth with an implant, a bridge or a denture. He plans implant placement with CBCT imaging for an accurate three-dimensional view.

Comfort and precision guide the technology we use every day. Dental lasers allow precise, more comfortable treatment, digital x-rays and intraoral cameras let you see what Dr. Falestiny sees, and our in-house 3D printer makes many restorations without weeks of lab time. Our advanced technology page explains each tool.

What Our Patients Say About Us

Frequently Asked Questions

How far is Prestige Dental from Sarasota Springs, and how do I get there?

Our office is roughly 13 minutes and 6.4 miles from the Sarasota Springs Trailhead. Take Webber St west to Beneva Rd, follow Beneva south until it turns into Vamo Rd, and finish with a short stretch south on US 41. Because nearly the whole trip stays on one road, a dentist near Sarasota Springs could hardly be simpler to reach.

What should I do if I crack a tooth in a bike or running fall?

Call our office right away, and we will make room for an urgent visit whenever possible. Dr. Falestiny checks the tooth, takes x-rays and explains whether bonding, a crown or another repair fits best. New patients can use our $29 emergency exam and x-ray, offered to new patients only. A life-threatening injury belongs at the emergency room first.

Do you use lasers for dental treatment?

Yes. Our office uses precise dental lasers that can make some treatments faster and more comfortable. Lasers are one part of a larger set of tools that includes digital x-rays, intraoral cameras, a CBCT scanner and an in-house 3D printer. Dr. Falestiny chooses the right tool for each procedure.

Can I book an appointment on a Friday?

No. Prestige Dental is closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and appointments are available Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If Friday is your only free day, the 8:00 AM slot earlier in the week is the closest alternative. For urgent problems, call as early in the week as you can.

Will the dentist talk through my options before recommending treatment?

Yes. Every new patient starts with a conversation about goals, worries, past dental experiences, schedule and budget before any recommendations are made. Dr. Falestiny then explains what he sees on the exam and x-rays and why a treatment may be needed. You leave with a clear picture of your choices.
